Inexpensive Hair & Makeup

Hi Fellow Brides;

I need help! Does anyone know of someone who does hair and makeup that won't cost over $200? The problem I'm finding is a) we gotta tip, b) traveling fees c)deposits, etc.. AACK! It adds up to way more than that. Then to top it off you have hair and makeup trials. It never seems to end, does it girls?

I'm trying to be reasonable ( I'm sure the vendors are worth every penny)but unfortunately when you are on a budget, your kinda limited.

Does anyone know anybody?

Try Sabrina (makeup) and Carolyn (hair).. they're very reasonably priced and I booked Sabrina and Clarissa (Carolyn is pregnant and due at the time of my wedding so I had my trial with Clarissa).

They're also a LIW vendor...also they're in Oceanside (Hair Expo)

Where are you located?

If you can go to a salon, it's usually cheaper than them coming to you.

I'm in Islip but getting married in Wading River. I am fine with going to a salon, but 'THE FAMILY' has issues about driving 45 minutes to Wading River so they want to stay out locally the night before. That's why it might be easier for someone to come to me. Or if anyone knows of a salon out by Farmingville area? I'm just trying to wing it, and please everyone. Not happening, but I'm trying.

I'm not using Oksana, but my SIL is using her for a different event. She lives in Queens, but I know that non-Queens brides have used her, so I'm sure she travels. She does only make-up, but there's someone else she works with who does hair.

Oksana is a vendor on this site, so you can look her up for contact info.
