It is hard. And we own another house upstate, by Monticello. But we have no choice. They will be higher than this next year. I would prefer to do it now than rent and pay towards someone elses investment. But yes, it is disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These homes aren't half worth what we are paying. But I will have a tax write off and a jacuzzi bathtub!

Agreed...the only good thing about the expensive house/taxes is the write off!!!

i love your house laurie its beautiful. i think its really hard to find a house in t he under 350,000 range in nassau and not have to do some updating.

I was just comparing it beacsue the outside needs work, but the inside is beautiful! ANd it's the same size as the one in Oceanside. It's rather small. I love it though. I am closing in 27 days. YAY!!!!
