Where can I get the best deals on invitations? Help. It all seems so expensive. What is everybody else doing?

Inexpensive invitations

Invitations are usually cheaper if you buy them online. I am using lizarddesigns.com - They are working with me to design an invitation. They are inexpensive for the all the services they provide (They will address all of your envelopes for you no charge, if you pay them for postage they send you the invitations all packaged up and ready to mail out, etc.). I am paying about $350 for 100 invitations, reply cards and reception cards. Try einvite.com or invitations4less.com too.

I used Gail from simply elegant in bayside. She gives 30% discount. I ordered 50 invitations and respond cards with color ink, liner, and return address for $133.00. They are simple white folder invitation with raised calla lillies in 2 corners. This was the best deal I found for seeing the samples in person (vs. online) and getting Gail's help.

Inexpensive invitations

We used an online service, www.liinvitations.cceasy.com/ There was a 25 or 30% discount, it turned out to be about $140 for 75 invitations, with response cards (no reception cards needed). I recently spoke with Christina at Long Island Invitations for extra outer envelopes, and she is very nice and helpful.

Try Party City, all invitations are 30% off. They had a lot of the same invitation books that you''ll see elsewhere. I got my invitations in 2 weeks.
