Oh there's an italian place in Huntington that's great! I think it's Matteo's??? It may have changed names though!!! Also try Louie's Brooklyn Pizza on Jericho Tpk in Huntington - their food is awesome. The BEST rigatoni ala vodka e.v.e.r.

I was just at Matteo's a few weeks ago for a baby shower. Food and service were pretty good. They didn't have a private room......when the mom-to-be started opening her gifts, they just pulled a curtain to seperate our area from the rest of the people eating there.

Gino's Tuscany in Bellmore; they have a few restaurants in Bethpage, Massapequa, Islip.. But Bellmore is the only one that has a seperate room. Prices are great, food is great, service is great... and room is nice too! fits about 60 i would say without music. maybe a little less. Ask for Sal. FM me with other questions...

FH and I had the same dilema, although we are in a different area. We were looking in RVC and that area. We started looking at pubby places that had a room. We found one for $21 a head and it's actually really nice. You could also try looking at places like an American Legion or VFW hall that rents rooms out for parties and just cook the food yourself. Make a bunch of trays of ziti and salad and bread, buy some booze and your set.

I would but my grandparents (who have the biggest house in the fam) are hosting a BBQ on Friday and my parents house isnt big enough for 30 people. FH and I live in an upstairs apt of a house so that won't work either!
I called Dave and Busters and the prices were doable but they make you rent a room for a min. of 2 hours as well!
