Inexpensive vendors. Please help

I found the reception hall I want to get married in. The only problem is it takes up our whole budget. Can anyone recommend some inexpensive vendors that they can recommend? I need opinions because I don't want to sabotage my whole wedding with the term 'you get what you pay for' !!

For a DJ try FM Entertainment. Frank is a vendor on here. He has great prices and will give you your own private showcase..

Burton's Bridal in Melville has inexpensive gowns and flowers. Someone posted a budget post, I'll see if I can find it.... stay tuned.

Thanks for the tips! If there's anything else that can help I need it. As organized as I am this planning isn't working well for the budget we need to stick to.

It's just an estimate, we didn't confirm yet. But Congrats. We like that date because it's 2 days from our 8 year anniversary!

Hey you! I'm crashing because i wanted to fill you in Pete from Wedding Cinema (video) if rachelle hasn't already told you about him. He's great! We paid $1100 and he'll totally work within your budget.

Also, we used Kim Covell for our photography and she was awesome! We couldn't afford an expensive photographer ($3000+) and Kim did my SIL's wedding so i knew she did good work. We ended up paying $2000 for her and she did great work! Even though she's on the cheaper end of the scale, you wouldn't have been able to tell from our pictures. She does excellent work!

i second Flowers by Burton for your flowers, they have great prices.

i'm using Marianela Vera http://www.nellavera.com for photography. you can save tons of money if you juse pay for coverage, and then either do the albums yourself or pay for the albums waaay after the wedding.

she did the wedding of ChrissynRicky you can see her pro pics in her community album.

you can get her from $1500-$2000 for alllllllll day unlimited location coverage, all proofs and negatives, digital and film, B&W and color, hi-res images on CD.

also check out 12th nite....they have the same pkges. coverage only

try making your own invites instead of paying for them! CaMacho made her own and they were probably some of the most amazing invitations i've ever seen as a DIY project.
