inexpensive wedding locations

Hello!

I am recently engaged and on a VERY limited budget, as i'm sure many people are. Does anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive locations? I am open as far as any ideas outside the box.

Any help you can give is extremely appreciated!

Thanks!

I believe the Coral house has good packages. The knights of columbus in oceanside is actually a catering hall that caters to weddings.

I found the off season to be way more affordable then I ever imagined......so I am able to have the wedding I want at the price I want.

Just be careful of hidden costs if you go to a low cost facility or try to do it at home. I.e. tent rentals, linen rentals, etc. Sometimes these per piece items end up being a lot more than a RH would be.

Good luck !!

Congrats!!!!

Chateau La mer in Lindenhurst
I worked with Nick and he has so many rave reviews.
If you try off season and on a Sunday you will save lots!!

If you are really on a budget you should look in to local churches. Alot of them have halls they rent out for a small donation. What town are you in. Near me I found 3 churches one was $700 one was $400 and the last was $300. And they come with chairs and tables. You can decorate any way you like, and have a caterer.

The Coral House has GREAT packages - starting at like 35 pp... also try the Stewart Manor - we are on a TIGHT budget as well and they working with what we told them we could afford. James is a doll!

Definitely try an off season day, my sister got married at Eastwind on the night before Thanksgiving and it was so cheap!!! Also I'm getting married in Feb and thats much cheaper than any summer months and sometimes doing things on your own such as centerpieces will save you a ton of money! Good Luck!!

I'm having my ceremony & recption at Watermill. It's beautiful and very resonably priced.
FYI: Sunday afternoons and off season- better prices!

We are having our wedding on sunday morning/afternoon in February, and many places gave us much better prices than if we had in june.

The Holiday Inn in Plainview has a complete wedding package (invites, flowers, reception, video, photo etc.) It was 10K in 2006.
