inexpensive wedding locations

Original post by ftnirsh07

Hello!

I am recently engaged and on a VERY limited budget, as i'm sure many people are. Does anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive locations? I am open as far as any ideas outside the box.

Any help you can give is extremely appreciated!

Thanks!

Douglaston Manor gave us a great price, I have some pics in my album, the renovations they did last year are really beautiful!! I'll give you a review in 15 days!

I second the K of C in Oceanside, its beautiful there and they even have a mini outdoor garden for some picture opportunities. Their food is fantastic as well, and I think my parents paid something like 45 pp for a full buffet and 4 hours of open bar!

Re: inexpensive wedding locations

I'll be getting married on Thanksgiving itself, and since our families will all be there, it's a good deal.

Also, we found a place in Brooklyn that is so much cheaper than any we'd found in Long Island, Staten Island, or Manhattan.

Re: inexpensive wedding locations

You should try restaurants in brooklyn and queens... many of them have party rooms that can accomodate 100+ people. Plus, since its primarily a restaurant, the food is bound to be good! the prices will def be lower than a hall!
