infant potty training/elimination communication

infant potty training/elimination communication

Is anyone familiar with this/using this? It's how everyone was potty trained before the influx of disposable diapers decades ago. I've read that it allows the baby to develop a more natural and comfortable relationship with adult bathroom habits. My grandmother insists it's unnatural to force a child to go in their 'pants' (diaper) if you know they are about to go.

I'd love to know if anyone else is using this in a gentle and natural way. If so, what books/resources/listserves etc are you using?

Thanks!
