Info on Sand Castle and Chateau La mer

hello all! Went to go see the sand castle today and kindo of mixed about it...so any info on food and experiences would be helpful also going to see the chateau on saturday any info on that would be great!!

I've been to both and although they are both beautiful I prefer Chateau LaMer. The food at CLM is amazing and you cannot beat that view!

I have been to 2 weddings at SC and the food was amazing...and lots of it too! We booked with them 'cause well we fell in love with the place.

CLM I'm not too familiar with...but one of my BM's booked there for July '08 and her & her FH have nothing but great things to say! Eiter way you can't go wrong!

I went to a wedding @ the Sand Castle and the food was incredible. They've done some renovations and I think they did a good job. My friend's wedding was beautiful but what REALLY stood out was how delicious the cocktail hour was and the entrees. They even went around with second tastings in case you wanted to try another entree.

I'm getting married at Floral Terrace, which is also owned by Sandcastle and the food is amazing. I went to a shower at Chateau La mer and thought it was really nice too, but if it rains it will be a stinky view.

my sister had her wedding at the sand castle and the food was great, she was worried at first after hearing mixed reviews, but i can tell you the owners did a great job. I have never been to CLM but i hear nothing but good things on here if you are looking for the view im sure CLM would be a better choice.

CLM!!!!

The best! The place is absolutly amazing! We are getting married there in 2 1/2 months and I cannot wait! The view is incredible and the people are so awesome and easy to work with! Everyone from the secreatary to the banquet managers have just made this experience a breeze. And their food is sooooooo good! You have to go to a food tasting and see for yourself. You will be blown away. Their prices are fantastic too. We are beyond happy with our experience with them to date and we know that they will be the absolute best on our wedding day! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The sandcastle is great !! we also where torn between CLM and sand castle....what made my final choice was...the sand castle just made us feel like we were in the right place...they are so great to work with and the few issues I have had they went out of their way to fix ....I have no worries at this point that it will be amazing!!

i have never been to either but a friend of mine was there recently @ SC for a wedding & is still talking about their food & service....i am having mine @ FT & can only say good things about them

I have never eaten at sandcastle but heard the food is great! As for CLM thats one of the things that sold us! It is amazing!!! and everyone there is so great to work with!!

went to sandcastle and hated it, chateau la mer was absolutely gorgeous, we went to a food tasting and it was amazing!! they have excellent service too. if my fh didnt insist that we get married at the riviera, we definetely would've had our wedding there

i had such a huge problem with the sand castle that the owners are still lying to girls from here who bring up my problem to them, telling them im a liar, or that my fiance broke up with me (obviously were married now, so i think not) they do NOT have good customer service skills and the ONLY thing going for them is the food and the honeymoon, (which by the way you pay for most of, and its in the middle of nowhere in greece)
they were rude, nasty and VERY unprofessional...id go with CLM any day of the week over them..
check out ALL of the reviews on the sand castle here before booking with them, and if you still decide to, make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing

Typically, no. I think the contract says April - October. However, I would SWEAR that there was a past bride on here that got married in November and the weather was still on the warm side and they got to do the boat.

By far the chateau, food is amazing there along with the view and service, we almost booked the chateau la mer, also went there for a huge tasting, awesome, we also attended many weddings as well, but we book the Chateau Briand, we just fell in love with it from the second we walked in, they had a bit more to offer. It by far topped all the other places, service, food, decor and modern facilities and private photo studio to boot, was just incredible. We loved our wedding and cant wait to renewe our vows there 10 years from now. Check it out if you can. GOOD LUCK WITH YOU CHOICE.....

I'm having my reception at the Sand Castle and I absolutely love it. I went to a wedding there and I can't say enough about how beautiful and amazing everything was. When we went to book it, the BM could not have been more helpful! I love it there. Good Luck!

They told us it depends on the weather. If it's still warm in November they will do it and depends if they stored the boat yet or not. It wasn't a super big deal for us.. if we get to do it Yay.. if not oh well.

i went to both in my research and liked both. i had been to a wedding at sand castle an the food was great!! i was kind of bummed thqat the room i wantd (with the rising throne) couldn't hold my minimum.. didn't care too much fr the other room.. was equally bummed when i saw the prices for jan and the fact that u had to get the platinum titanium package in orde to get the 'free trip' and that the ttrip has soo many blckout dates.. BUT.. the food is incredible!! and they offer seconds!!

alo went to CLM.. which fh an i loved but it was too far for us.. and it had an odd odor.. (could've been the water) but the guy was great, the food options were ridiculous and the pricing was amazing.. coudn't cae too much bout the boat cause i was gtting married in jan.. but the view didnt really move me.. all i saw when i looked out the window was tghe runway thingy and a bunch of cars.. the water was there but the cars and the runway thingy was there too.. didn' make me say ooohh..
