Info on Sand Castle and Chateau La mer

hello all! Went to go see the sand castle today and kindo of mixed about it...so any info on food and experiences would be helpful also going to see the chateau on saturday any info on that would be great!!

CLM all the way. I had my wedding there this past June and everything was fantastic. We're STILL getting calls from guests raving about the Cocktail Hour --most of my guests said it was the best they've ever been to.

They give you soooo much for your money and the place is gorgeous and right on the water. Check out my reveiw and other rbides reviews. I've literally never heard one bad things about them.

I went to both and found Sand Castles to be a little too kitschy for my taste. Also, the fact that the place overlooked the local grocery store turned me off. But the place did look nice and newly renovated and the free honeymoon sounded nice. Also, I know someone who got married there and had a good experience. For me, the view from the upstairs room at CLM put the hall on a different level. Someone mentioned that SandCastles offers seconds on the meal but so does CLM.
