Info regarding Bridal Reflections and Lynbrook Bridal

So I need to put in my BM dress orders. I had bought my dress at Flowerama but the have moved so I am trying to decide between BR or Lynbrook. Both have been able to match the price Flowerama was going to give me. So please let me know the good, the bad, and even the ugly of these two places in regards to service and alterations.

I heard that BR only allows fittings 1 time a month on the weekends? Is this true?

I have never been to the store in Lynbrook but I personally do not care for Bridal Reflections....however I know many girls love BR

They never said that to me. I ordered my BM dresses from there and they were nothing but nice. Give them a call and ask them their policy about fittings. I rather go there during the week, on Saturdays many people bring their children and it gets crowded. Out of all the girls Jessica is the sweetest in the BM department.

I bought my dress at Lynbrook Bridal, and they are sooo friendly and patient. I would recommend going there. It's not as busy either, so you'll definately get the help you need!

The Carle Place BR will only allow your BMs to be fitted on Saturday if they live out of state (fittings are scheduled 1 Saturday per month). My BMs didn't have a great experience there with the alterations.

I would not recommend BR. I have not had a good experience with them at all. I have never been to Lynbrook but that would be your best bet.

It looks like Lynbrook maybe the best place. Any others buy dresses at Lynbrook?

I bought my wedding dress at BR in Massapequa. They did not want to give any sort of discount for my BM dresses. I called Lynbrook Bridal and they gave 10% off right off the bat, so I went with them. They were nice and helpful, esp since I had a PG BM. I think one or two of the BM's told me the seamstress was a little rude, but I don't know what transpired - nothing major though.

I got my wedding dress at Lynbrook & had a great experience there. They were wonderful to work with....very sweet, patient & helpful. The seamstress was also very nice.

I was actally at Lynbrook bridal and yesterday and found them to be very nice. MY FSIL had bought her dress from them and said all nice things about them.

Well I bougth my dress from Bridal Reflections (Carle place) and have had such a bad experince with when I was trying to negotiate prices for my BM dresses that i would never, never recommend them.
I ended up purchasing my BM dressees from Lynbrook bridal, so far so good although I can't reccomentd either place as far as alterations go since none of my dresses have come in yet.
