How very 2000 of you! :)

I think that's a very 'high tech' idea - though I'm sure Emily Post hasn't come up with a 'proper' way of handling it.

Cardstock in the invite is great. For those guests who are not web-friendly, you might want to offer your phone number for them to call for 'real live assistance' :o)

One word of caution on web pages - try to avoid using your last names and/or any other bits of info that can enable those with bad intentions to track you down. I had a web page too until someone told me that people use the info to find out when houses are empty so they know who to rob and when. Sooo sad, right? But on the plus side, I know alot of web pages - like WEdding Channel - have password protections just for these reasons. So you can provide the password w/the invite - that might work real well!

inform guests of wedding website???

I think that is a great idea We have a website as well-- but not sure my finace will "let" me put it in the invitations !! But most of the families have seen it already--since most exchange emails Laura

THE PLACE SEEMS VERY NICE THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTYFUL! (BUT IT WAS VERY BUGGY OUT)THE BRIDE I DID ON MONDAY TOOK ALL HER PHOTOS THERE.

Way outdated. We're not doing it either. Most of our friends are single. I asked them how they felt about it and almost all of them said they would rather not catch the bouquet. As for the garter toss, The last wedding I was at a 15 year old girl caught the bouquet and the garter was caught by a 45 year old guy. Not cool at all for that 14 year olds parents I'm sure. We were thinking about the anniversary dance.
