Thank you so much - so many people didn't think I was doing the right thing but in my heart I knew we alll needed to do it.....my husband even told my priest that he made his dreams come true- his mother got to see him get married!

Congradulations, what a beautiful ceremony...I am speechless on the Mother/Son dance, so beautiful.
I wanted to say that those memories will mean so much to you all forever. My sister was supposed to have a reception out, and when my mother got too sick, they ended up doing the same thing. They had a ceremony at my mom's house.
I know it meant more than words could ever say to anyone. My sis never did have a reception, but I always tell her that no matter how much money we spend on our reception, or how fancy it is, or how many people come...her wedding will always be more beautiful..because our mom was there.

You and FH made the right decision, and sometime years from now, you will smile knowing that you had that special ceremony, and that she was there to watch her son get married
