Infuriated...

Okay... Sorry this has absolutely nothing to do with weddings whatsoever. Im just so upset right now. My boss is being a C*%@ right now about making me come in on Monday for 4 f'in hours

There goes my plans for the weekend. Completely shot. I was supposed to go upstate this weekend for a get-together with about 20 of my friends. Being that Im getting married this year, and because my honeymoon will take up all my vaca days, my boss is being a f'in BEYOTCH
One of the managers I work for was trying to convince her to let me take off being that the market is closing early, and my office will have NO ONE HERE. She went on & on about how she had to sacrifice to get where she is and that I just simply dont have enough days.

Of course, she will not be in the office Monday. <-- I just needed to add that because well... shes a cu*t.

I am sorry that you have to go through this and that your weekend is shot. That really s*cks. Hopefully there is something that you can do about it. Like magically be sick on that day? Maybe? Sending hugs your way.

Bosses and companies sometimes can be so inconsiderate.

That was the word I was looking for.. INCONSIDERATE

Thank you. Oh and calling out is not an option. She knows I want to go upstate... I will get my head chopped off when I get back.

That totally s*cks!!! She's obviously a miserable old spinster who cannot fathom anyone else actually being happy. I'm so sorry Janie!!!!! Can you go Friday night through Sunday night? It ***** but at least you'd see them.

I feel your pain-this effin place is open on Monday for a full day-that's right 8:30-5. I know I just had 3 weeks off, but it does ruin the entire weekend, plus I do still have a weeks vacation left & they are not letting anyone take the unless it was approved before May 15th.....so ridiculous.

right there with you. working from 9 to 12 -I'm thinking what's the point..but have to do need to pay for the wedding...

Wow what a C$%@& rag! Have you thought about seeking else where for empolyment. I mean if she is going to make you and only you lose your weekend because she as a bug up her @ss, maybe you need to find an employer who has less issues.

Yes I am back-but I hate this place too. Nobody did any of my work for 3 weeks & they daid they would-now they expect me to be caught up by noon tomorrow I am on LIW so you can see how much I care about that! She is obviously singling you out & there is no need. Don't sweat it-after the wedding you are gone!

Yup no joke-3 weeks and nothing. Now that I am back they want it done PRONTO They made me sit with a temp for 2 days to train him then he decided not to come back & they didn't get anyone else to do it. My boss really should have done some of it. My desk-couldn't even see it there were just papers everywhere. I already sent my resume out to a bunch of places today. Maybe if I don't get it done when they want it done tomorrow I will get FIRED-I wish I was that lucky!

I hear ya Janie..my boss is being a royal pain.
No one is coming in but since i'm 'taking so many days for your wedding' i have to come in.
