ING

ING

I think some brides on here mentioned having an acct with ING for their wedding savings. There is an article in the Wall Street Journal today with some very negative insights to the itnernal workings of the company. Morningstar, who independently rates mutual fund companies, has told investors not to add any money to ING. Here is the first paragraph of the article:

Fund researcher Morningstar Inc. is warning investors not to send new money to mutual funds offered by ING Groep NV because of concerns related to trading improprieties at the firm. Morningstar said this week that it doesn't believe ING has been forthcoming enough about troubles at the company, where the research firm believes 'serious ethical lapses' have occurred.

I just wanted to let you girls know. It has never been a very reputable company, but now its being flat out said to stay away by industry experts...

Re: ING

That's odd. I have had money in a savings account at ING for years and have had no problems. I have made a lot of money off the interest I have earned. This is the first time I have heard anything negative about it. I know quite a few other ladies who have accounts with them as well.

Re: ING

I use the ING savings account, not the CD or mutual funds. So far we have made a lot of money in interest. No complaints here
