sorry, I misunderstood.

I was quoted $199 per room for 10 or more rooms.... but I was given that info back in May of 06.

I decided not to block rooms at all. I don't have many OOTers, and those that are coming in are staying with local relatives.

I booked a bridal/honeymoon suite for the night of our wedding - it was an insane $250 (minus 10% for being a Scotto bride - so its $240 incl tax).....I have until September to cancel it, and I just may do that.

If we blocked 10 rooms it would have been $209 a night...but their 'rooms' are acutally nights...so if a couple were to stay Friday and Sat that would be 2 rooms. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to sign a contract that held you responsible for 75% of the bill so if you didn't have at least 7 rooms or something you had to pay the rest. We blocked at the Best Western across the street for $99/night...HTH!

yep we were told the same thing so we booked the Executive Inn down the block. They provide shuttle service to get across Jericho Turnpike and down the road too so it was the best option for us.
