Inn At New Hyde Park Construction Update Aug 07
Hello ladies, and to hello the men who read when no one's looking !
I drove by the Inn At New Hyde Park the other day, and took some more photos. All of the exterior framing, insulation, and windows are complete. The fireprooofing inside was completed last week, and now the interior is being completed.
The interior has already been constructed off-site, so now it is being brought in to assemble. With one of the owners explaining (and showing) me all of this, I remember them telling me something about a GLASS ATRIUM, but I cannot remember anything else about it. I think it will be in the south east corner of the building.
They were also taking out a lot of dirt from the rear of the property, to prepare for the floral area, which is supposed to be done very shortly. All contrstruction is SUPPOSED to be done by September 1st.
I did not take any photos of the front, as it still has not changed. However, take note of the new entrance, which is on the west side of the buidling. For anyone who has been there in the past, this entrance will come in where the old cocktail room used to be. With the new cocktail room being constructed, there will be no need for this one anymore.
Enjoy . . . .
