I've finally narrowed down to my top 3 venues & wanted to get your opinions on what you thought of these sites based on your experiences importantly as wedding guests or secondly having visited the sites during your search. My dream site was the De Serversky mansion but unfortunately was out of our budget with the site fee. Ideally we are looking for a place that will satisfy foodie's standards & where the guests will be blown away by the site itself, whether it be the view seen at the OFC, the cocktail reception room of the Inn at NHP or the openness of rooms at Lands End.

my friend got marriend at Lands End...and her guests only had good things to say about it...food and drinks were great...service excellent can't say anything bad about it ...i had a great time!!!

Lands end hands down. Food is incredible, you have the whole place to yourself and its on the water

im not a big fan of nhp but then agian i think its only because i live so close to it and always had school functions and family parties there ... but its still beautiful! their minimum was wayyy to high for me though

I can't say anything about Inn at NHP because I have never been there. OFC was on my list of halls but we can't have it there since we are too many people. But I have to say that it had a charm to it and the view looked beautiful! We looked Lands End and thought the outside was gorgeous! We just didn't feel that it was worth the price tag! But wherever you choose, good luck!!

Lands End is absolutely beautiful. They booked up the week after i looked ! So i never had the chance to book.. Love everything about it. Had my e-party at flowerfield, which i believe is the same owners=same food. FANTASTIC.
I am booked at the inn so you know my answer. Its amazing, one wedding at a time, gorgeous grounds etc..
cant go wrong with either. But i say the inn because you will be getting married the week before me !

I just had my wedding at The Inn 3 weeks ago.. It was absolutely amazing!! can not say enough and people are still talking about the service and the food .. the place is gorgeous and they give you so much food and even throw in little extras.. My whole family was blown away as was I.. It was perfect and everyone thought it was top notch!!! I highly suggest the Inn..
Also, my brother got married at Lands End so it was amazing too. the food and service is amazing there too. its just a different feel then the Inn. If you want your wedding on the water I say Lands end.. if you want it more grand and homey feeling I would say the Inn .. Its just stunning..

OFC!! We are getting married there next September and I love it there! We did a tasting before we booked and the food was incredible. It's really amazing and different than other halls because you are the only wedding/bride all day. They are cooking only for you and your party. We loved that it was different than the 'typical' looking catering hall.

I went to a Wedding at NYP Inn and I liked it. I actually checked it out when I was looking around and they were a little out of control with the prices. I do think that the place was redone very nice though...

Lands End because the food and the view= amazing! Good Luck! I'm having mine at Tribeca Rooftop, which is the same caterer as Land's End (lovin oven). I had my tasting last week and the food was PERFECT! And they use Audrey's bakery.....so yummy! Good Luck!!!

The caterers Loven Oven are great! They are so different with the choices of food. They are sooooooooooooooo yummy! Yes they are a bit pricey but so worth it. You get the best food, water view, and great service. If you need flowers, Keyth (from Loven Oven FLorists) is awesome! Oh and Audrey's Bakery is DELICIOUS!

My wedding there was absolutely AMAZING!! Over a year later my guests still talk about the food, the location, the decor and the service. I was at a wedding two weeks ago, I was in, and the bride was telling other guests the next day about how amazing my wedding was. It was a nice compliment from someone who must got married and should be focused on her own wedding.
We hear all the time that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. DH's family (several who are in restaurants or are food sales rep) said it was restaurant food, not catering food, and good restaurant food at that.
My parents liked it so much at my wedding that they went there for Thanksgiving last year and several of my guests visited for Lobster Wed nights over the summer.
The service was AMAZING!! I had such personal service it was amazing. My drink was never more then half empty. I kept switching between flip flops and dress shoes. I didn't see my attendant, but the minute I would start changing my shoes she was by my side to help, so she was paying complete attention to me without hanging over me. AMAZING!

My wedding at the Inn was 4 months ago, but I've also been to a wedding at LE. IMO, the food at the Inn is superior. The cocktail hour blows LE away and there is much more variety in your seated courses as well. It is $$$ though.
