Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
Sorry - I addressed the inner - I think if the outer is addressed to the people attending then its not necessary....

Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
We're writing the names too, but with first names for people we know very well.
It's just further clarification for who exactly is invited (translation: no kids!!)

I had the calligrapher address the inner envelope but AnnBrunXo did not address her inner envelopes.

I had the calligrapher address them also, but I don't think it's necessary.

It's not always necessary but we did it because it was nice touch to have some of the inner envelopes addressed 'Aunt Mary and Uncle Joe', etc

Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
I am addressing the inner envelopes because I dont want anyone who is not invited with a guest to assume they can bring one, and I dont want anyone who's children arent invited to assume they are.

Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
I had hand calligraphy done on both inner and outer....on the outer was the person's full name, salutations, titles, etc, and address...then on the inner envelope I had just their first name everyone love the entire package...they are beautiful..good luck

TIP: that means nothing, I went a step further and had printed on my rsvp's 'guest by invitation only' - therefore you would think the receipient who received the invite addressed to them would understand and comply....hell no we got fools already sending back with extra people, FH is a raving nut now he is calling as they come back like that and putting people in their place....people today some have not a clue or could care less

Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
I was worried that I did mine wrong, But I can't stress about it... I printed the inside envelopes what I call them. Ex:Aunt Laurie and Uncle Darrin Some of our parents or our friends parents that are invited, we call Mr. and Mrs. xxxx and that's what I put on the inside. Is that correct??

Re: 'Inner Enevolpe' for invites
I made my own invites and just purchased a few larger envelopes for those people I would need them for. Otherwise the other invites do not have an inner envelope.
