Inner envelope

Do I put names on these or just address the outer one?

Re: Inner envelope

I didnt do the inner envelope thing, but all the ones Ive gotten had the names listed of those invited by first names. That way people dont assume the entire family and their family...AND their family is invited...

Re: Inner envelope

on the inner envelope I wrote Mr and Mrs Smith where on the outside I wrote Mr and Mrs John Smith, but you can make it personalized on the inside if you want like John and Mary etc

Re: Inner envelope

I did inner envelopes with the persons name and if they had a guest or not. The outer envelope had the names and addresses of the people invited

Re: Inner envelope

We did name and address on the outer envelope and then on the inner envelope we did the less formal name. For instance:

Outer: Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Address

Inner: John and Susan Smith

we did on the inner envelope just 'Mr. & Mrs. Last Name' and on the outer envelope 'Mr. & Mrs First & Last Name...address'

Re: Inner envelope

I put the names on the inners also...depending on who it was I either did a formal like Mr. and Mrs. Doe (elders) or I put their names like Joe and Jane Doe ( more for like my friends).
