I am doing invites right now and it tells you how to write a married couples name.
Mr. & Mrs. John Jones (outer envelope) Mr. & Mrs. Jones (inner envelope)
I'm just not sure what to do with person and guest for the inner envelope...help!!!!

Re: Inner Envelope etiquette
I think Ms not Miss (depending on age)) and Guest OR if you know the guests name I would put that bc I think it is nicer. I not 100% sure this is just what I would do.

if a person was in a relationship but not married, i put their significant others name. Only if a person was single, I wrote and guest

This is what I am planning on doing with mine. Both my sisters are married and it was what they did with their invites

Re: Inner Envelope etiquette
Agreed. If a person was dating in a relationship where you've met the S.O. or know that would be the wedding date, I put Ms. Smith and Mr. Brown. If they are single or they were on shaky grounds and it was possible for them to bring someone else or if I just hadn't met the S.O. yet bc they'd been dating not that long I just wrote Ms. Smith and Guest.
