Inner Envelopes?

Inner Envelopes?

If your invitations do not have an inner envelope how does a family know who is invited. I know everyone in the house over 18 should receive one but that is not happening. Any suggestions?

I would just write the names of whomever is invited on the outter envelopes. We did inners but really felt it was repetitive of what was on the outter anyway! You can write The Smith Family or Mr. and Mrs Smith and Family or just Mr. and Mrs. Smith on one line and the next line JOhn Smith etc.;.

Thank you for your response. I was reading somewhere that you it is not proper etiquette to write family.. But you know what, I am going to anyway. Who really cares anyway. Thanks again

I wrote and Family for people... I dont know about you but I wasnt sending out 3 or 4 invitations to 1 household because 2 of their kids are literally 18 and 19 and I KNOW could care less if they actually got an invitation, if you know what I mean? And thats nothing personal to me but they are teenagers they dont care about an invitation.

I did AND FAMILY and put it on the outer because I had no inner... It worked out fine. Not one person ever said a word to me in fact I got nothing but calls from women telling me how in love with my invitation they are! =)
