Ok, so i'm utterly confused. According to almost every website I look at, if the outer envelope says: Mr. & Mrs. John Doe, the inner envelope should say: Mr. & Mrs Doe. But according to the spreadsheet template provide by the person who did my invites, the inner envelope should have the guests 1st names on it.

I only addressed the inner envelope if i invited smoeone with guest or if i needed to indicate something other than was on the outer...

thats what I did, the inner envelopes helped show if a person was invited with a guest or not
