Inner envelopes -- what goes on them?

you print exactly who is invited to the wedding on them...so if there are kids, you can list them there...

I will probably do the inner envelopes less formally -- For example, if it were my aunt and uncle, I would have the outer envelope read something like

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe
(Address)

Then the inner envelope would say:

Aunt Jane and Uncle John


If I'm inviting kids (I'm not...)

Outer would read:

The Smith Family

Inner would read:

Tom, Janice, and Joey.


If I wasn't inviting kids:

Outer would read

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith

inner would read

Tom and Janice
