Inner & Outer Envelope Question

Are you supposed to seal the inner envelope, or does it not matter? Also, which way do you place the inner into the outer? With the names showing as you pull it out or in the same direction as the address?

i didn't have an inner envelope, but those i did receive were never sealed and the names on the inner envelope should face out, so when the guest opens the envelope they see their names first when they pull out the invitation.

I didnt seal the inner envelope and it should be the opposite way of outer(if that makes sense) so when you open it an slide it out you will see the guests name! HTH
