i'm not voting cuz i'm not sure.

I agree that i wouldn't want to see FH before ceremony but u seem ok with that. Cool.
But i understand the time constraints also if u do it after.

Question... since it's a Friday, which way will have more traffic that that time of day. Going to the botanical gardens or coming from the botanical gardens. Or if u do pics after the church how far are the botanical gardens from ur RH.

my parents house to the church is 2 miles
church to the botanical gardens is 6 miles
botanical gardnes to the RH is 3 miles.

so everything is very close. you can get to every place by taking the streets so you don't need to worry about highway traffic

aaah.... i would do the pictures first then. You have to take into account running a little late just in case. And like u said, the botanical gardens are strict about their times.

In your situation I have to go with church first. Not B/C of tradition, B/C it works for you. Anyone close to you will take the day off to go to the church. Everyone else will finish out the work day & catch up at the CH. So I don't think changing
to a later church time is giong to matter.

.. I woul take pictures first ... You dont want to cut it too close with the picture time at the botanical gardens ... You can do a private unveiling athe garden of seeing your FH for thefirst time and the pictures will look amazing with all the flowers around .. PLus either way walking donw the aisle will be emotional ..

and it also give ur Guest much more to make it to the church ..

I said pics first...because I think 2PM is very early for a friday. However, in the end its your wedding and if you dont feel comfortable with your FH seeing you before you walk down the aisle, then do the church first.
