Has anyone ever tried this or P90X? I'm interested in starting Insanity but I wanted to hear some feedback from someone who has completed the program.
TIA

I never finished, I started it when I was in worse shape than I am now (over a year ago) and felt like I was dying, so I gave up. I've been interested in starting again!

I did insanity for a while..im extremely into fitness..im a runner. This program got to be a little much for me. Im not big into working out at home, I feel a gym is way more motivating...Although the 40 min workouts go by pretty quickly...you will be sweating right after the warm up! It got pretty tedious to me...so I stopped after about 2 months..I know ppl that have done the full program and look amazing, but it was just not for me...HTH!

I did Insanity a couple of years ago and only completed 5 1/2 weeks. My body physically couldn't do the second month of workouts. I want to try it again though! Maybe in the fall this time, when it's cooler (first time I did it was summer).

I'm doing his new program now, FOCUS T25. It's 25 minutes a day for 5 days a week and you're supposed to get the same results you would from an hour-long workout. I doubt that's the case, but I do feel myself getting stronger from it! I'm in my third week of it.

I used p90x however I didn't follow all the CDs. I did the an ripper and the cardio. I'm a runner I did it when it was yucky weather to run outside so unkept active. You need equipment for the others which I didn't have.

I did both P90X and Insanity and completed both programs. Let me know if you have any questions. I liked them both, but I think I liked P90X better. Insanity was just too tough on my joints.

My FH has done both. He didn't really like insanity and ended up going back to P90X

I couldn't get past week 3, but in those 3 weeks I lost 10lbs and was starting to form abs. I only stopped because I got asthmatic bronchitis and was seriously ill, I want to start up again though! Just be sure you're wearing good sneakers or you will KILL your ankles.

I did Insanity for 2 weeks. I have a short attention span and it was a bit repetitive for me. I lost interest really fast. I ended up just joining the local gym. I was actually thinking of listing my Insanity DVDs on eBay. Let me know if you're interested.

I actually purchased the insanity dvd's to get ready for the big day. The first week I felt like I got run over by a tractor trailer and mind you I work out 4-5 times a week. After the first week, I was fine. It does challenge you but what I like is even seeing the people on the video take a break to catch their breath and start back up (and they are in far better shape than you and I). I go at my pace. I completed the first month and finished the week of cardio core and balance. I repeated the 1st month again because I heard the second month is more challenging and run a little longer.
I have seen a change in my body. I lost weight but then gained (but gained muscle as muscle weighs more than fat) I am going to continue with it as I enjoy it as well as the results. It is a great stress reliever (at least for me =)

One of my friends at work started on Monday and she was complaining about not being able to move today because she's so sore! That being said, I kind of want to try it but I think that I might wimp out and stop after five minutes!
