Insensitive family..................

I saw my dad's brother last week (he doesn't deserve the name uncle) and he asked me where I was having my reception. I told him and then he preceded to tell me how horrible the place is and I should try to get my money back. So many others haev the said the total oppsoite. Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I not tell you I booked it already. Even if you have an opinion, keep it to yourself. I am not sure if I am inviting him now.

Thanks for the support. It feels good to vent. He is the total opposite of my wonderful father! I don't know how they are brothers.

The estate is beautiful!!My two cousin's were married there. The food is amazing....

There are plenty of Estate brides (including myself) who will tell you that your so-called uncle is totally insane. Not to mention insensitive and completely wrong!!

One of my BM is having her wedding in June at Jericho Terrace (which has a great rep from what I've seen) and she and her FH have been working themselves ragged paying for a black tie affair with seafood added to CH and full vienese hr just because her FH's family 'expects it'. I'd tell them all to kiss my you-know-what! She says that they give gifts to make up for their expectation and I hope they are right. They postponed twice b/c they weren't able to keep up with payments! Now one of his Aunts reports that she didn't like it there!

You can't choose your family- at least it's your father's brother and not a parent!!
