Inside pictures

Where is everyone planning on taking pictures in case of bad weather? Don't have any idea where to go?
Would it be tacky to take pictures at the bar/restaurant where FH and I had our first date?

I think we're going to the Hempstead House...they have indoor and outdoor picture options.

Sorry, should have said that we are looking for somewhere between Wantagh and Lindenhurst. Don't want to go too far from those two locations.

We are getting married @ clm also and we're doing pics in old west bury at owg before the ceremony & reception

Did you see the bride's review where they went to the library? THey got some great shots and since I am a teacher, I thought it might be a good choice.

what about going to the hall early to take pics inside your reception hall??

i've also seen a review (dont remember which bride) who took pics inside a bowloing alley thbose came out great

Sands point has both indoor and outdoor, however you pay extra for indoor

I think that it would be very cute to take a few where you had your first date if convenient. Most halls have plenty of nice places inside. Also, are you staying at a hotel after? They may let you take some pictures there before the reception.

Check with your photographer. I know mine has already shown me some pics he took at the train station (yes the train station!) due to bad weather. They looked amazing! The right photographer can turn bad weather into something awesome :)

I had emailed my photographer and he said there is a place in Holtsville that would be good but it's out of the way for us and it wouldnt fit our timeline. I am waiting to hear back about his opinion about the bar. I think it would be nice, it has leather couches, a fire place, a pool table and some nice outdoor tables. Might make a few great shots.
