Insomnia at 31 weeks....ugh

I've never really had problems with sleeping before - now I wake up around 2 am and can't go back to sleep until 4 or after....I know I am uncomfortable and some stress at work getting ready for my maternity leave - but has anyone else experienced this as a result of pregnancy? I am so tired and I get so frustrasted being awake in the middle of the night - last night I went down and sat with my black lab in the kitchen for a bit as my DH lay upstairs snoring away!!!!!

Unfortunately its all part of it.. I haven't slept well since week 30 and I am now at 33. I toss and turn all night, I am very uncomfortable and very restless. Where as at the beginning of my pregnancy I got the best sleep of my life!!!
Its hard going threw this, with all the changes in your body AND working at the same time.
Hang in there!

Have you purchased a pregnancy pillow yet? If not, I'd recommend the snoogle, it has really helped me get comfortable in bed...

Thanks girls - at least i'm not alone! Aliking - it's the same for me - slept constantly and now all of a sudden having the worst time! I have a body pillow but that one looks insane - I may need to get it just to try it out. I'll try anything at this point.

I am not sleeping well at all either. Coming up on 32 weeks now. Guess my body is getting ready for all those late night feedings!

I'm only at 26 weeks and I'm having trouble sleeping too.

At 36 weeks, sleep isn't good. I toss and turn all night and go to the bathroom every 2 hours.

I liked it better than my body pillow because it was narrower and wrapped all the way around. BRU sells it among others -- may be worth a try.

At the moment I take a benedryl before bed because of a glorious pregnancy related rash -- that is also helping with the sleep. Still, its at least two bathroom trips a night.

I'm only 19 weeks and I'm having a terrible time sleeping. I just can't ever seem to get comfortable.
