Inspired by Ross and Rachel on Friends

Unlike some I really want Ross and Rachel to be together.

My husband and I were having a discussion about this last night.

He thinks that Ross and Rachel's time has passed and that they need to move on.

I think that over the years they have both been in a multitude of relationships that have failed and something always brings them back together- one example- Emma.

Thoughts Please????

I like Ross and Rachel together too. I don't like her with Joey.

I love them together.

They have known each other since HS (remember the episode where Rachel saw the tape that Monica's father had done of Ross going to take her to the prom b/c her date stood her up. But he showed up last minute)

I think their is just so much passion between them. They belong together. They have a history together, they belong together

I agree about their history together. It was not all bad. They have always been their for each other.

I never really liked them together
Emma was not planned they should not have to be together if they dont love each other anymore for her sake

I have a feeling that Joey and Rachaels relationship is not going to become anything really....I have a feeling that the producers are going to end the show with Ross and Rachael rekindling the love that they had for each other.

What do you think fo Joey having his own show next season? Do you think it will last?

I think they balance each other very nicely! While it's been too long and they both refuse to acknowledge their feelings, 6 years seems like most people would have either gotten back together or moved on.

Rachel and Joey are probably over since he's getting his own show and she's not going to be on it.

I kind of like Ross and Rachel too. Lots of history. I think Joey is handsome and funny but he's too goofy for Rachel.

If they stop making Ross act like a total idiot like they have been doing since...season 4...then I can see them together.

You know that's how they're going to end it anyway. People will be up in arms if they do it any different.

I would also like a non-Ross and Rachel ending but it would have to be where he found another true love, stopped acting like an a$$, and she and Joey stayed together. But with the spin-off, I don't think they'll do it that way. (even though I read that the writers of Friends will do what they want and the writers of Joey will have to figure it out when the times comes)

i see them together too, but i think it's more because they're 'meant' to be together. these days their personalities don't seem to match at ALL. i think rachel is a COMPLETE bimbo lately .. it's like wake up, you're a 30 something mother, not 20! she annoys me now. but yea, i hope their characters go back to how they used to be ... that's the only way rachel and ross could click again.

I go back and forth between wanting them to get back together, and wanting them to move on. It was so weird to hear Ross say that it's been SIX YEARS since they broke up - gosh, I can't believe how long I have just loved this show!

I think that the writers totally made Ross' character into a complete geek/goofball over the years...he was always a little geeky b/c he is so smart, but he had a quiet, sensitive and somewhat serious thing to his personality that was attractive, and good match for Rachel's occasional ditzy-ness. But, the ridiculousness of his antics now just make him annoying. For this reason, I can't picture him back with Rachel.

We'll see what happens....

no way...I hated them together...but when they broke up I thought rachels character really thrived...although I don't like her with Joey either...

the same with Monica and Chandler...great apart...s*cky together....

how many friends interdate like these guys...I find it a bit creepy

My opinion is there not together for a reason. they just mess around because of the 'comfort' factor. Truth be told it's over & she is w/ a MUCH better man!

That is so funny about the 'interdating' on the show. I saw a spoof, I think it was on SNL about coming attractions for the show. It showed Ross and Monica looking all lovey at each other! The announcer said something like 'Next week Ross and Monica find each other! We've run out of combinations!' I was LMAO at that!
