Ok, so you know I was in the fender bender last week. His insurance co. calls me back on Monday, leaves a message. I try back mon, 2x tuesday and 3x today. Still nothing! Why is it such a dam hassle. I;'m returning HER phone call! Im only off 2 more days, than back to work! It really sux! Thank you for letting me vent.
UPDATE*** The Company FINALLY called me back and I can take my car in tomorrow. Thank God! Wish me luck Ladies.

As an ex claims person (mind you broker side), I’m sorry to hear she’s not replying. If you have a claim number you can always pound out and speak to someone else.

I recently went through something similar about three months ago. I was on my home in the rain and it was stop and go traffic and the person behind me couldn't stop and slammed into me - lucky for me my bumper was the only thing damaged - his front fender pierced mine and his whole ything came off, his airbag deployed - it was a mess. Poor guy. I had to sympathize since I've been on his end before. Anyway, he was cited for not having an updated insurance card and I started to get scared. Anyway luckily he was insured.
However it was the worst - I swear the woman from the company knew when I was getting up from my desk at work Everytime she called I was away and then everytime I called back I got voicemail. Well finally somebody called and said 'we haven't heard from you' what happened. so I just faxed them a description of what happened Then the adjuster was supposed to come the week my grandmother died - and he wasn't very flexible. Anyway all went well. They finally cut me a check for $730 - I was a little surprised. If my damage was $730, I can't imagine what it was for the guy that hit me.
I'm just going to drive in the right lane from now on !!!

I'm just going to keep trying. All she wanted to know was where I was going to take my car. I have the place picked out (guy was extremley nice) but I have to set it up w/the adjuster. My bumper needs to be looked at. Thats it. The company is up in Albany. I dont understand why its so hard to return a phone call. The best was Monday, I call her back @ 440PM..The recording comes on, 'Our hours are 8AM-5PM please call back during business hours'. ummmmmm, Helloooo....When I went to school, 440PM came BEFORE 5PM Jeeeeeez..TY for letting me vent again. You are all the best.

I would do the same thing! I would call them every hour on the hour till they answer me. I dont understand why insurance companie's do that. this lady should at least knowledge your calls if not fax them. good luck.

I love that ! I think it is like they are in fear that if they answer the phone at 4:40, there is a chance they could be on the phone at 4:59 when they are shutting down their computer.
