I'm an anti-bride. It seems like everyone BUT me and my FH is all focussed on and excited about the wedding.

I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with my FH - building a life and family together. I do not think a huge ceremony and reception (which costs the same as a down payment on a house) is necessary.

A marriage is a life-long committment. A wedding is one day. My FH and I have been living together for 2 years. While a wedding is a once in a lifetime experience, it is not going to change anything between us.

Couldnt have said it better... Exactly how I feel too... I was actually disgusted the other day thinking about how we could have spent this money on a condo instead
