Interfaith

Anyone having an interfaith wedding?

I'm Jewish and my FH is Catholic. We are having a rabbi and a priest. The planning is going very well. We met with the rabbi/priest and they are great. I didn't know how it was going to work out, but they complaint each other very well. I had the chills the whole time and my FH felt the same way. He was happy with our choice. They are called the 'batman and robin' beacuse they work very well together.

We were going to get married by the justice of the peace, but there wasn't going to be any religious feel to it, so we went with the interfaith...
Anyone going through the same thing?

I am glad that you found something that worked well for you. FH is Catholic but he didn't recieve two of his sacraments so he has to go back to get them so that we can get married in the church.

I have been to a few interfaith marriages and I always thought they were really nice.

I have been to a wedding where they did both and it was nice.
My parents, mom Catholic and dad was Jewish then, got married in the church and by a rabbi at the hall. The only thing was my dad couldnt stand on the alter.

Who are you using? I am catholic and FH is jewish. I definately want to incorporate both religions into the ceremony.
