We're a Jewish/Catholic couple who will be having a priest and a rabbi officiate. The priest is a family friend so that's already taken care of.
We met with a Rabbi last night who we both liked. He told us that his fee is $650. Does anyone know if this is reasonable/average? (he does not have his own congreagation or is affiliated with a specific temple) Knowing that Rabbis who are willing to marry us are few and far between, we would like to retain his services but do not want to be overpaying. Thanks.

We are using a Cantor...and it is $450.

The ones we've looked at for interfaith have been around $500.
What about priests though... Is there a fee or is it a 'suggested donation' to the church they're affiliated with?

I'm not sure about the priest, we're meeting with him in two weeks. I would imagine that there's some sort of 'suggested' donation.

We are paying $600 for our Rabbi and donating $500 to the church for the priest.

We are paying $500 for the Cantor and $350 for the minister.

we're getting a rabbi and reverand and they will be about 600 a piece so that is about normal.
