interfaith ceremony

My fiance and I are from different religions (jewish and catholic). Can anyone recommend someone who is good and can be personable? I don't know if we should have a rabbi and a minister, a person without a religious title or JOP.

We had an interfaith ceremony too. I am Jewish, my DH is Catholic.

We used Rabbi Block (my childhood Rabbi), and he recommended Msgr. Lisante, who was absolutely fantastic!

Our ceremony was warm, personal and wonderful ... we have gotten so many positive comments from our guests about how they handled the situation perfectly!

More info in my review ...

Thank you so much. Obviously I want the ceremony to be perfect so any recommendations are extremely helpful. Did you se both or just one of the two?

We had both officiate over our ceremony, they worked great together. It was the perfect balance of both religions in our opinion. Our ceremony was at the RH.

We contacted Interfaith Clergy. They are very nice and helpful, we are having one of their Rabbis but FH wanted to use the Priest from his HS instead of the one from Interfaith

That's funny, I was wondering why I haven't heard more about him on this website. Does he remind you of the father from Happy Days?

Re: interfaith ceremony

I don't have any recommendations but one of the most memorable ceremonies I went to had a Rabbi & priest (who was spanish)....so the ceremony was in English, Hebrew & Spanish....i think it should depend on you & your DHs feelings on your personal beliefs and what matters to each of you.
