Re: interfaith marriage

It's a personal decision between you and your fiance to discuss.

My FI and I are 'interfaith' as he's church of england and I'm catholic. We consider both religions basically almost identical in what we consider the impt. things, with just a few differences...

Neither of us are very religious but it is more important to me than to him. We discussed it for a bit and if we have kids will raise them catholic. We decided to have ours a catholic wedding and in a catholic church. I'd be in charge of bringing our kids up with religious studies and all that other stuff but maybe bring them to the other church too on occasion - but FI is not a church-goer. Let them decide later on what they want to do and what religion they want to go with after confirmation.

So we kind of decided what religion we'd be married by based on who it was more important to and on the future with raising our kids. It was definitely a mutual thought out decision.
