Interfaith Officiant - Montauk

Interfaith Officiant - Montauk

Hey ladies -

I've been stalking the boards for a few months now but I think it's time I finally get to business!

Does anyone have any suggestions for an interfaith officiant? Neither my fiance nor I are religious necessarily but we do each respect our own (and each other's) family backgrounds and would like honor those by including both Jewish and Christian (in this case, Episcopal) traditions in our ceremony. There's a chance that his parents' pastor would attend the wedding as a guest. And so he could perform some of the Christian prayers himself. But then I feel like I need to balance that out with some Jewish representation as well, or else fear the wrath of the grandmas. To be honest, I actually do find many of the Jewish traditions to feel 'at home' to me. So I guess I'm looking for an officiant with some background in Judaism but that could lead a somewhat spiritual interfaith ceremony as well.

Since we're getting married out in Montauk, it would be good if they were from at least Suffolk since we likely won't be able to afford to put anyone else up for the night!

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Try Rabbi Renee Feller - she's amazing! She was great to work with and everyone loved our ceremony. She'll work with ministers or any other faiths as well, she really does a beautiful job. You can search for her website online or FM me.
