Interview Tomorrow

Interview Tomorrow

I took the day off because I have an interview tomorrow. I am sooo happy. Hopefully this will be the job for me. I did some research on the company...and printed out some articles to reread today.....It is always good to know some info about the company.

Anyone know some good questions to ask for your first interview? That is the worst part, when they ask you if you have any questions and your just like ummm...er.....hmmmm.....
Thanks,
Scott

I don't know what field you're interviewing in, but I never go into an inteview without having a bunch of questions in my head that I could ask (even though I only ask around two). You should be asking questions that are related to your field and to the company.
They are definitely looking at what you ask or don't ask as part of your interview.

Re: Interview Tomorrow

I have a few questions written down that I will ask...The job is in the computer field for a Comapny that makes Chocolate and Candy...and also promotional items

Also - when you ask the questions - or ask if they do something in particular, it's another good opportunity to show your knowledge, experience, or ideas related to what your asking.

Re: Interview Tomorrow

True..I can do that. This job is in a different field than I currently work in but I am sure I can relate my role to this role somehow

Re: Interview Tomorrow

things I always ask...

- what are current and future projects - timelines and deliverables?
- what would be my role in achieving those objectives?
- how is the dept/team structured?
- who will i be interfacing with (other departments, clients, vendors, etc)?
- what is the natural progression in the company?
- what is their measure for success?

ETA: GOOD LUCK!

If the owner is still a guy named Brian he said he is a tyrant. The head IT guys were Tim and Eric. They were nice he says.

ETA: He did get me some free chocolate which was fun!
