Introduction
Hello everyone! My name is Dierdra and I am a 2010 bride! I just got officially engaged, but was planning my wedding before that (long story) and am getting married on April 3rd!!
Umm a little about myself and my wedding, I am doing a spring/pink and multicolored wedding. I am getting married in a relatives back yard with about 200 people, and I am tenting under the stars.
Planning a tent wedding has been harder then I thought, but luckily I work in the event/wedding industry as a catering manager, planner and DOC. (I am not saying what company and hall work for and I won't advertise them, I really hope that this isnt against the rules![]()
) SO I have been able to use some connections and past experince to make the experience suprsingly smooth.
I am a huge DIY bride, I'm working on my invitations right now, I finsihed my things to throw at the ceremony, my guest book, my table numbers, my hairpiece and veil and alot more...
I am really looking forward to getting to know you girls, my sister was on this site years ago and she said it was one of the best things she ever did. I honestly hope to make some friends on this site because truth be told I tend to have 95% male friends and they really could care less about weddings.
