Introduction and Unique Ideas (Long)
Hi everyone!
My name is Diane, but that was already taken so I choose Shorebride as my username. My fiance and I wanted to have a reception with a 'beachy' tropical touch and we are getting married and the Larchmont Shore Club so I thought that was appropriate.
Anyway, I am gettng married next summer on July 13. This is my first time writing to everyone. I just spent the last 45 minutes reading everyone''s comments. I am so excited this seems like so much fun. I can''t wait to read more.
Since everyone gives such great advice, I have a question...I want to have something unique at my reception for my guests to look at. A lot of people have really nice collages, but I have 2 cousins who just got married and they already did that. (I''m the type who just has to be different--not that that is always a good thing!) Then my sister got married this July and I made a scrapbook of her entire engagement. Which was a hit, so that is an idea for everyone out there. But now it is my turn and I want to do something different. Does anyone have ideas? I would love to hear them.
