Invataion Q

ok so I need to order my invites...got them all picked out.....

When do you think I should make the RSVP??

my wedding is Nov. 11th and I was planning on sending the invites out Aug 1st....so I'm gessing some time in Oct..... but when?? I need to leave a few weeks for the 'late bloomers' lol

I think Oct. 1st is a good date. RSVP dates should usually be set anywhere from 3-6 weeks before your wedding date.

I ordered my invites a few weeks ago. They recommended month from from your wedding date. In your case that would be Oct 11th

but didnt you say that you wanted some time for the plan B guest?? So wouldnt you make the RSVP date a bit earlier??

how far in advance would you need to give your RH a final head count? I would say two weeks before that, just in case you need to make some phone calls.

August 1st is VERY early to mail your invitations. I don't think I'd mail them before the end of August (still 10 weeks before the wedding, instead of the usual 8 weeks before the wedding) ....

'Technically' you should mail them September 11th, with an RSVP October 11th.
