On your invitations did you put the actual time that you wanted the wedding start or did you delay the time to make sure that everyone got there and didn't miss anything.
I want my wedding start (real time) at 3:00 p.m. and people are saying that I should put on the invitation 2:30 p.m. Is that true?

We put 30 minutes early because his family is habitually late.

I put the real time down. It's everyone's responsibility to get there on time and I didn't want to make the people who do come on time wait for long.

yeah see that is how I was feeling that 30 minutes is a long time to wait because you think it is supposed to start at 3:00 p.m. I am soo at a loss with this one. I wanted to have a hour between the cocktail hour so I could take pictures so I guess I just have to make a decision
