I ordered 3 invisible ink pens about 2 weeks ago and they havent arrived yet! I am going to assemble my invitation's this weekend and don't know what I could use instead. I am doing RSVP postcards so there is no way of hiding the number assigned to the card.
Where should I put the number on the postcard? Should I use a pencil so that I can write it lightly or try to find a gold pen?
Please help! TIA!

Re: Invisible Ink Pen Substitute
honeslty i would wait for the pens or go to a store to find them, you dont want to ruin your invite
i would put the number on the back corner of the postcard

Re: Invisible Ink Pen Substitute
I was thinking the same thing. I haven't found it in a store yet! I was at the outlets yesterday and they told me they use to have it but are sold out now - lucky me!
I will probably end up assembling everything myself then. I was going to have a BM come by to help me out. The hardest part is going to be enclosing the card with the ribbon and clasp but I can't do that until all the pieces of paper are in.
eeeeeeeeee!
Anyway, thanks for your input!

Re: Invisible Ink Pen Substitute
I was thinking about this when I was doing my guest list.
If you do the guest list alphabetically people shouldn't be instuled to be #70. My last name is S and I would NEVER be #1-60. I'm going to W so i'd be even further back.
I'm not gonna bother doing invisible ink, i'm just gonna write the #. Half of my family is S and T, and FH's is W and they are #'s 88-115 lol.

Makes sense!!!
I guess I'll just wait to see how I feel on Sunday. I already had to put polar bear stamps on the cards since thats the only design for .28 cent postage!
thank you!

Re: Invisible Ink Pen Substitute
Personally, I would wait for the pens to do that part of the invitations. If you don't want to wait, I would use a pencil. I don't think anyone would even realize.
to tell you the truth, I was thinking of just using a pencil and making a tiny number somewhere on the rsvp thats not visible...

I would use the pencil if you are that worried about getting them done....FH's cousin did it with pencil and no one noticed except me but that is because I was looking for it

Re: Invisible Ink Pen Substitute
If you don't want to wait... I know it's a lot more work...but maybe you could assign every person a symbol instead of a number so they don't know what order they werre in
