Hi girls .. my girls who are doing my invites do everything including stuffing them and mailing them out. I told them Im concerned about RSVP's not having names on it ...
They just sent me an email saying that they can mark the RSVP cards and give me a corresponding list just in case ..
They will charge $125 to do this ..
Should I do it?? Is that a reasonable cost you think?

NOO! Just do it yourself...you can use the invisible pen or mark numbers on the pack with a pencil..I would do this over paying $125.
I was going to write on the back with a pencil, but my calligrapher put all their return addresses on the rsvp for free.
**ahh read too fast..they are doing all the stuffing and mailing..hmmm i dont know. do you also pay extra for the to stuff and mail?

$125 seems like a lot for just numbering RSVP cards. But I wouldn't want to pull each and every invite apart to number them. I'd either s*ck it up and pay the $125 or not number them at all. It wouldn't be the end of the world. Edited for typos.

Honestly I think that's outrageous. I am stuffing my invites myself and am doing the marking/corresponding list thing. It literally takes 2-3 seconds an invite.
It's worth having done for the reason you mentioned but I would negotiate that price!

NO WAY!!! I would want to stuff, seal and send them myself so I could make sure things like numbering the RSVP cards was done the way I wanted it to be. If you do all of that yourself I ber you could save yourself even more money.

I have to agree...$125 sounds ridiculous.
It took me maybe 10 minutes to number all 100 invites.

i agree with all the girls.
it took me, my mom, and Dino an hour to stuff and put together 150 invitations..

Yeah this is the issue .. the stuffing and mailing and stuff is included in my price ... So id have to say dont stuff them or mail them ...

Yeah this is the issue .. the stuffing and mailing and stuff is included in my price ... So id have to say dont stuff them or mail them ...
you can have them stuff them, and then just take out the rsvp card and number them yourself if you want. then just mail them. but i put the numbers on the back of my rsvps and i didnt have an issue with anyone not writing their name on it, so i wouldnt worry about it too much. $125 is a lot of money for them to just put a number on each card.

Okay girls!!!!!!! I told her that I'll just remove the RSVP cards from each and do it myself.
Thanks for all the input - $125 seemed high to me too but I wasnt sure if that was the norm

i normally pay for someone else to do annoying things like that but numbering rsvps are super easy and i doubt itll take that long, i would def do that myself

That price is insane.........I would use an invisible pen and do it myself (which is what I will be doing anyway)....

I feel totally stupid asking this but why are you numbering our rsvp cards? Is it in case people do not put their names on them? My RSVP cards have the M_________ I would assume people would write their names there...no? Thanks!!!

most people do... but some people don't write their names, check decline, and cut two inches off the side of your rsvp with scissors

yeah some people might forget to write their names on the rsvp cards. you'd be surprised!! i didnt have any issues with this on my cards. but i received a few that that used the 'M_____' as the beginning of their name ex: Margaret lol.
