So I am making my own pocketfolds, and am trying to figure out how many i'll need to make. We have about 260 people invited (fml) and I really don't want to be sending out a ton of invites to one house just for 'etiquette' purposes.
I'd like to hear from you all about what you're doing in regards to this. Are you planning on sending one invite to an entire family, or sending one invite to the parents, and separate invites to all of the kids over the age of 18 even if they are living in the same home? No kids are invited, and all of my cousins are 18 or over, but I feel like it's a waste to send 4 invites to a house with parents and 3 children, when I can just send one invite to 'Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and Family'

I am going to send separate invites for people over 18, with +1's just because I used to hate being included on an invite w/ my parents.

It's probably personal preference, and maybe I am just annoying, but I would get most annoyed when close family would include me with my parents. Especially since FH and I were together for so long and I would have liked to have gotten a separate invite with our names on it.
ETA: I think it might be different etiquette for STDs though

Invitation addressing question
People who aren't living at home are definitely getting their own invites for sure. Just the ones living at home who are not invited with dates I was going to put on with their parents. There are two cousins who live at home but are in serious relationships so they will get their own. I do however have cousins from 4 families ranging in ages 16-23 who all live at home with their parents and are kind of immature for their age, and I felt that they really didn't need their own invites. Maybe I should rethink though since everyone else is sending separate invites =/

I agree that anyone in the house of 18 should get their own invitation.

I'm making my own pocketfold invites as well and I'm sending separate invites to anyone over 18.
