invitation addressing questions

invitation addressing questions

I'm trying to address the rest of my invites and I have a couple of stupid questions...

First, i have a young cousin who i am sending his own invitation. He's like 14 or something. So, on the outside I was putting
Master Brian XXX
his address.
So, on the inside, it just seems like it looks weird if I say Master XXX. But is this right? Or would you think just Brian?

Then, i have a couple of cousins who are dating people - for quite a while. I was gonna just send the invites to my cousins. So, since they don't live with their respective boy/girlfriends, would I just address the outside to them. Then, on the inside write Mr. (cousin's last name) and Ms. (cousin's girlfriend's last name).
Is that how it should be done?

Thanks.

Re: invitation addressing questions

If you are sending someone an invitation on thier own and not including them with and family, I would persoanlly say, you should NOT address them as master. On the second question you have it right.

Re: invitation addressing questions

i think it is nice to put the name of a significant other (girl/boyfriend), especially if you know them - i hate getting invited as my fiancee's 'guest' when i know the people and vice versa for him.....it gives it a more personal touch too!
