Re: Invitation assembly

I did it myself and did an assembly line type of set-up. It was totally fine and I put together 100 of them. It will take a while, but I put on a movie, numbered the back of the RSVP cards and put it all together. I felt better doing it myself knowing it was done and done properly. I can be a control freak with some things.

Re: Invitation assembly

I was a bit nervous that people would not add their names to the RSVP, so I used the invisible pen. I don't think its bad...but you may end up with a couple of cards with no names. Hopefully they add their return address to the envelope though. I had someone do that. Thankfully I was covered either way.

I did them myself with the help of my sis and my mom. It took us like an hour for 65 invites

Re: Invitation assembly

I did partial assembly. I put all of the inserts in myself, and then my bridesmaids helped me put the monogram tabs on the front.

Re: Invitation assembly

We used the do it yourself invitations and took care of the whole process ourselves. It was well worth the time and effort.

We aren't doing the WHOLE thing by ourselves. We will just put them together when we get them.

Re: Invitation assembly

I put everything myself, like 75 of them. had to triple fold them, stick the monogram to seal. then #ed the RSVPs and put everything together into an envelope w/the direction card. this took me like 6 hrs.
then the next day I weighted them and bought postage. so then it took me another 5 hrs to stamp all and seal them.

def worth it as everything was done exactly as it should
if FH would've helped me this would've taken much faster LOL

I'm gonna do it myself. It will probably take a while, but I don't mind! I seriously need a hobby!
