What do you guys think of this invite? Is it cutting edge contemporary or is it informal and not wedding oriented? Oh, and most importantly is it Diva-esque? Give it to me straight guys!!

Re: Invitation: Contemporary or Informal?
I think they look like the kind of invitation one would receive for a new hotel opening or a new club opening etc. Not a wedding invite IMO. I think you can do something 'Diva-Esque' but something that is more impressive. That invitation seems like a dated novelty item. Something more elegant that can still be funky and fun. There is a brand of invites that I've seen that were so nice and soooo different, but I can't remember the designer. I saw them at Simply Elegant in Bayside (Gail is awesome), or you can always have them custom made, then the possibilites are endless.
Also, what do you consider 'Diva-esque?' Because to me I just think something elaborate and grand and girlie, not necessarily contemporary.

Diva, Honestly I don't like it. I don't think it is formal enough and has enough DIVALICIOUSNOUS to it. I think there are better ones out there for you.

Re: Invitation: Contemporary or Informal?
I personally think that while they are very different and eye-catching, they are too informal for a wedding. It is very possible to be contemporary, divaesque, and still weddingy. That said, if you love them, you should go for them.

Re: Invitation: Contemporary or Informal?
I like them, but I was just trying to get a feel of what everyone thinks about them. From everyone's responses they are contemporary, but not formal. I'll post others as I come across them. Thanx

Re: Invitation: Contemporary or Informal?
I LOVE IT!!! But I don't know if maybe it's toooo contemporary for your divaness.... I vote put that one at the top of the list, off to the side, but keep looking around too.
