Invitation Dilemna (long)

I agree, just be honest. I'm sure they realize that the invites were already sent over a month ago. As my MOH got some no's back for her wedding she did ask some people verbally and she had such wonderful responses, people were so gracious, no one was offended. You can hand them an invite in person afterwards. And they do sound so supportive and excited for you.

If they don't know your invites were already mailed, I'd just give them their invitations now. If they do know, then explain the situation. Sounds like they've been very supportive and loving - I'm sure they'll be thrilled! Good luck! :o)

At this point, I wouldnt expect them to need to send something back. They will tell you and you can just count them in if they say yes. The reception card, maybe you can just type something up nicely on the computer with the info and slip that in with the invite. I know how you must be feeling about relatives who 'couldnt care less' but remember whoever is meant to be there will be there and your day will be no less special because of the people who don't come :o) Enjoy!
